In order to find out the occurrence of unfavorable geological body structure and coal in No.11104 Face of Zhengbang Coal Mine, 40 boreholes in the working face were geophysically explored by logging instrument. The results showed that the apparent resistivity of coal in No.11104 Face was in the middle and low value, lower than that of bauxite, higher than that of sandstone and mudstone, while the natural gamma of coal was at the lowest value. Using natural gamma data to construct a geological structure forward model, the obtained unfavorable geological body structure was in good agreement with the actual geological occurrence of the erosion zone. The comprehensive logging histogram obtained by the fine interpretation of coal and rock was basically consistent with the coal seam occurrence simulated by the geological structure forward model, indicating that the forward model not only responded accurately to the erosion zone, but also had practical application value for the development law of coal. The forward model constructed by the comprehensive geophysical exploration method provided a reference for the detection of similar geological conditions in the future.
