Abstract:As an important transportation equipment in coal mine, the hoist has high performance requirements for the control system. In this paper, the JK-2.5×2P hoist of Pingdingshan No.12 Mine is taken as the research object. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the speed change of the hoist, the frequency conversion control system of the hoist is designed based on the S7-400 PLC controller. The inverter model used in the system is 6SL3210 -5BE21-5U V0.Both the controller and the inverter are Siemens products to ensure the compatibility between the hardware. The software program of the control system mainly includes the main program and multiple subroutines. The main program can call different types of subroutines according to actual needs during operation, and can be called nested. The designed frequency conversion control system has been applied in Pingdingshan No.12 Coal Mine for about one year. Through data comparison and analysis, it is found that the equipment failure rate and energy consumption are reduced by about 10 % and 15 %, respectively. The safety and economic benefits are remarkable, and the expected results are achieved.
