Abstract:In order to realize the water-preserved mining of No.100602 Face in Yitang Coal Industry, the depth of coal seam floor failure zone under the influence of mining was studied by theoretical calculation and field measurement. It was found that the decrease of strain and stress increment of floor at different depths tended to be consistent, and the change range of increment was negatively correlated with depth. The deformation of the floor was lagging, that was, the floor would not rebound immediately after the working face was advanced, and then the stress state of the original rock would be restored as the working face gradually moves away from the strain. Based on the additional strain and stress changes of strain probes at different depths, the floor failure depth of 100602 working face in Yitang Coal Industry was 17.10 ~ 17.58 m. The research results provided theoretical basis and safety feasibility for the realization of water-preserved mining under pressure in the working face.
