Abstract: The roadway excavation in 1300 mining area of Xingdong Mine is affected by the ultra-high confined Ordovician limestone water under the conditions of large mining depth and high ground pressure. There are many faults in the roadway excavation area. The fault draws the distance between the aquifer and the coal seam, the water barrier performance of which is lower than that of the complete rock layer. There is the possibility of developing a water-conducting fault. In order to ensure the roadway excavation safety in the 1300 mining area of Xingdong Mine, the ground directional horizontal branch drilling technology has been used to detect the development of structure and the water conductivity of fault. The Ordovician limestone water supply channel has been cut off by the grouting project to ensure the roadway excavation safety in the detection and treatment area.
