There are many longitudinal mineable coal seams in Shangzhuang Mine, stably distributed in the area. In order to realize three-dimensional mining and safe production of multiple coal seams, it is important to detect the water-richness of the top No.3 coal seam. The water-rich zone distribution of No. 3 coal seam was detected by using ProTEM67P transient electromagnetic instrument, and the transient electromagnetic processing-interpretation process was strictly followed, and the water-rich distribution zone matched shaft with the known mining area and fault was predicted, which confirmed the applicability of transient electromagnetic in detecting water-rich zone, and provided effective technical support for the formulation of water control safety measures and safe mining in mines.
