Abstract: In order to efficiently recover the abandoned resources of thick coal seam in Xingtai Mine, improve the recovery rate of re-mining resources, reduce the amount of slag, and reduce the production difficulties during tunneling and mining, it was re-mined in No.7609 caving face according to the caving effect and the remaining coal resources. The expected sections of different positions of the working face during the mining period were drawn in detail by studying the various sketches and ledgers of the original No.7609 face (light caving), the occurrence and parameters of No.f609-4, No.f609-5 and No.f609-6 faults. By taking the measures of adjusting the roadway horizon during the excavation of the transportation roadway in stages, the significant influence of the internal faults of the working face on the mining was reduced, and the resource recovery rate was improved. At the same time, it created favorable conditions for resource recovery and production during mining.
