Abstract: Belt conveyor is an important equipment in mine conveying system. In mining high-power belt conveyor, the belt conveyor drive system usually adopts multi motor driver. After the system is started, the normal operation of the belt conveyor only needs low power input, which leads to the phenomenon of energy wasting. In view of this problem, taking dsj-800 belt conveyor as the analysis object, this paper puts forward that using a new overrunning clutch in the belt conveyor can cut off one or two groups of gearbox and motor during normal operation of the equipment, reduce the load of belt conveyor drum, reduce the energy consumption of gearbox and motor, and improve the power factor of power system. The research results provided a basis for the research on energy conservation and emission reduction of mine machinery and equipment.
