Drilling holes for water exploration and drainage in mines are often very deviated and cannot meet the design goals. The exploration and drainage borehole construction in No. 8 coal face of Zhenchengdi Mine was taken as an example, the borehole logging analyzer was used to measure the drilling construction parameters and trajectory, and the construction and analysis of the near-horizontal borehole in this coal seam were drilled under the influence of different factors, with targeted preventive measures. The results showed that the deviation of the borehole opening angle was the primary link that affected the deflection of the borehole, without obvious regularity in the horizontal deflection of the borehole. The hole was oriented to the right; the vertical deflection of the borehole was mainly skewed under the gravity of the drilling tool, except for the deviation of the hole, the skew rate was about 3%.
