In this paper, the deformation and damage of the transportation roadway in the 3201 working face of Xinsan Mine was studied, and it was analyzed that the main factors leading to the deformation and damage of the transportation roadway were the complex geological conditions of the roadway, the unreasonable design of the original support, and the under-utilized self-supporting ability of the surrounding rocks. In combination with the actual geological conditions, the "anchor cable + U steel + flexible layer" composite support scheme was designed to repair the transportation roadway, and the results showed that the scheme achieved a good repair support effect.
