In order to reduce the residual gas content near the cut surface of the 7607 working face of Wuyang Mine, it was proposed to adopt the CO2 phase change fracturing technology to fracturing and extracting gas from the coal near the cut. The CO2 phase change fracturing technology utilized the property of volume expansion of liquid CO2 after being heated, acted on the coal body, reopened the original crack of the coal body and generated a large number of new cracks, thereby improving the gas drainage effect. The field application showed that after the CO2 phase change fracturing technology of the 7607 fully mechanized mining face, the gas extraction mixing volume increased by 0.9~3.4 m3/min, the scalar quantity increased by 0.07 ~ 0.2 m3/min, and the concentration increased by 2.5 ~ 8.5 times, the gas drainage effect was significantly improved.
