Hydrogeological factors are important factors that restrict the safe production of mines. Yangquan Mining Group No.2 Mine was taken as an example, the distribution of mine water damage was analyzed from surface water damage, coal-bearing sandstone and thin-layer limestone water damage, water damage in goaf, ash water damage, water damage in fault and subsidence column, closed borehole water damage, water inrush point, etc., and the influencing factors of mining were evaluated. The prevention measures of water damage and the treatment measures of main water inrush points were proposed.
