Through the analysis of geological conditions, roadway layout and equipment configuration of 3500 large mining height and super-long working face of Shanxi Changzhi Wangzhuang Mine, the power and chain safety factor of the working face scraper conveyor were calculated. The running current and output during the trial run of the scraper conveyor were recorded and analyzed. The trial operation showed that the length of the working face was extended from 195.75 m to 371.9 m. The total power of the existing SGZ960/2×700 scraper conveyor was 2×700 kW, which could meet the power requirements for transportation. The chain could meet the safety factor requirement. The running performance and operating parameters were stable and reliable, and the results met the design and specification requirements and could be put into normal operation.
