Surrounding rock of recovering roadway affected by stratum structure, with multiple stratum structure, obvious weak bedding face, the support of complex stratum roof of 22404 waste stone removing roadway in Halagou Mine was taken as engineering background, the surrounding rock deformation features were analyzed, with the reason of deformation and damage. The damage of complex stratum roof led to faulting and damage of weak plate, which caused the broken connection of surrounding rock carrier and weakened the surrounding rock stability, the uneven deformation of weak plate led to separation layer in sequence, with poor stability compared with lithostrome. The combined support of anchor + anchor cable + metal mesh was given, which controlled the roof separation layer of 22404 waste rock removing roadway, with maximum roof subsidence 19 mm, two sides maximum deformation 14 ~ 16 mm, with effective support.
