Study on anchor bolt mesh support in air return roadway in Madaotou Mine

Based on the support difficulty in 5210 air return roadway in Madaotou Mine, combined with geological condition, the combined anchor bolt mesh suppose was given by theoretical analysis and site practice. The site observation showed that anchor bolt mesh support after 40 d enables to make roadway surrounding rock stable , the added sinkage was 120 mm, the two sides convergence less than 80 mm, the bottom heave was 50 mm. The support controlled the roadway deformation, improved the roadway stability and ensured the safe mining.
