GH8801 working face of a coal mine was selected as research object to monitor roadway deflection and its results were analyzed scientifically to reflect effect of roadway deformation on faults of fully mechanized mining face roadway. The results could boil down to these following points: roadway deformation in fault location was obviously three times larger than other roadway position; influence scope of roadway deformation effected by fault was about 13m before and after fault, rate of roadway deformation under fault effect within this range was significantly greater than other roadway positions.
