The distance between No. 9 coal seam and No. 10 coal seam of Tongfa Dongzhouyao Mining Industry is 5.81 m, which was settled as extremely close coal seam by calculation, 100201 working face roof as No. 10 coal seam initial mining working face, was considered to be a damaged roof. The original roadway support was optimized by the result, pressure tube technology was put forward. The optimized support enabled to control surrounding rock change by the observation of tested roadway, with reference for roadway support under similar condition.
