Slot-tube anchor bar and whorl-steel bolt are mainly used for roadway supporting in Jinshandian Iron Mine, which may cause bolt support failure and safety problems. In order to overcome the limitation, GFRP bolt is proposed to replace slot-tube anchor bar and whorl-steel bolt, which is with advantages of high strength, light weight and non-corrosion. Phase 2 was used to numerical simulate the three bolts tunnel supporting in Jinshandian Iron Mine. Rock strength factor and tunnel displacement were analyzed under the supporting of the three bolts. The research result showed that GFRP bolt was slightly better than slot-tube anchor bar and whorl-steel bolt, which proved that GFRP bolt is available in Jinshandian iron mine.
