Based on geological conditions of large dip angle thick seam mining height, supporting numerical simulation study was conducted, eventually the section size of cut eye and supporting parameters were determined, which ensured the security technology for heavy equipment installation. Based on heavy equipment installation problem under the condition of large dip angle support, installation plan and technology of support were settled, which laid a foundation for the large mining height fully mechanized mining.
