Due to most of the oil pipeline are layed using the  buried method, they are easily corroded, and some accidents for example oil spills were happened. Based on the occasion of Fushun Petrochemical Corporation mutual, the causes of the naphtha pipelines corrosion were that  the failure of the sacrificial anode which could not effectively prevent the occurrence of corrosion, then  the corrosion of the stray current , the erosion corrosion of the external and internal transport medium soil. According to the actual situation ,some effective measures were that monitoring the pipeline, detecting the inspection of the coating, replacing the sacrificial anode and drainage facilities, using mandatory cathodic protection method and re-corrosion of  PE or liquid polyurethane layer, and so on.
