Faced with coking industry small profit era and the crucible of state for energy and environmental protection，the coking enterprises actively adopted energy saving and low carbon environmental protection measures in order to ensure themselves sustainable development in the industry competition. In view of the company's existing steamed ammonia process and the present situation, three types of ammonia distillation technologies applied in coking enterprises were introduced ,which were direct steam ammonia distillation, negative-pressure ammonia distillation and hot pump ammonia distillation. Through comparing investment, energy consumption, environmental protection and energy costs of three distillation technologies above, the conclusion was made that a series of problems, such as high consumption of steam and great amount of waste water could be solved, which could be caused by direct steam ammonia distillation using negative-pressure ammonia distillation, at the same time there was a good economic benefit. It was pointed out that energy-efficient, environment-friendly ammonia distillation process replacing traditional process will be the important trend of coking enterprises, according with the environmental protection and circular economy strategy.
