In this study, drilling fluid consumption analysis, underground television imaging and logging curve analysis and other methods were used to compare and analyze the development height and development law of water conduction fracture zone and caving zone of mining overburden in No.52608 Face of Daliuta Coal Mine. The results showed that the development height of water conduction fracture zone was 117.46 ~ 126.28 m, the development height of caving zone was 19.54 ~ 20.36 m, the fracture-mining ratio was 23.49 ~ 25.26, and the caving-mining ratio was 3.91 ~ 4.07. The edge of the working face with the development height of the water conduction fracture zone was higher than the middle part of the working face, and the whole shape was ' saddle '. The edge and middle part of the working face with the development height of the caving zone were basically close. Underground television imaging and logging analysis were more accurate in judging the development height of 'two zones', which could provide scientific basis for mine water disaster prevention and control.
