No. 10904 Face of Jingu Coal Industry was taken as the research object, and the application of the technology of crossing the scour zone in the fully mechanized excavation face was discussed. Scouring zone was one of the common problems in geological structure, which had a significant impact on coal production and mine stability. Through the comprehensive application of scheme formulation and measures, measures such as staggered excavation, gangue support, selection and strengthening of support methods, and reinforcement of roadway roof with water injection slurry were adopted, which successfully coped with the problems of roadway support difficulty and loose roof caused by scouring zone. The research results showed that the application of the technology of crossing the scour zone in the fully mechanized excavation face in Jingu Coal Industry had effectively improved the stability and safety of the roadway, and provided strong support for the safe production and efficient mining of the coal mine.
