In order to ensure the long-term safety and stability of No.13 coal belt roadway in Sunjiagou Mine, the support design of No.13 coal belt roadway and the law of mine pressure appearance were studied by means of mine pressure monitoring and engineering analogy. However, during the excavation of the roadway with the designed anchor-mesh-cable-beam combined support scheme, the roof appeared serious subsidence damage and the separation problem was prominent. Therefore, it was decided to grout the roof. By selecting appropriate grouting materials and parameters, the phenomenon of roof subsidence is eliminated after reinforcement, and the amount of roof separation is controlled within the allowable range of design, which achieves good support effect and realizes the long-term stability of roadway surrounding rock.
