Abstract： Aiming at the problem of roadway anchor cable support during strong mining of deep coal seam in Zhaozhuang Mine, through on-site investigation, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the failure types of anchor cables in Zhaozhuang Mine were summarized, the expression of shear stress distribution of roadway roof bedding surface was deduced. The horizontal deformation of the anchor cable and roof subsidence in deep roof roadway of Zhaozhuang Mine were analyzed under different composite roof thickness, the number of bedding discontinuous surface, different anchor cable preload, different installation angles and different positions of discontinuous surface. The results showed that: ①The anchor cable failure of deep roadway in Zhaozhuang Mine was mainly concentrated in the side roof and the middle roof of coal pillar goaf.②The shear stress on the roof layer of roadway composite strata presented uneven distribution. ③The failure near the lock was caused by the rigid shear between the lock body and the anchor; the failure in the middle of the anchor cable was caused by the flexible shear of the anchor cable caused by the dislocation between the bedding of the laminated composite roof.
