Abstract:Cinchona alkaloid also known as quinine, is a drug used for the treatment and prevention of malaria. The molecular structure of quinine was studied. The molecular structure of quinine was researched by mid infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. The experiment found that the infrared absorption modes of quinine molecular structure mainly include: ν■, ν■, ν■, ν■, ν■, ν■, δ■, δ■, δ■, ν■and ρ■. Research has found that the deconvolution MIR spectroscopy of quinine molecular structure has better spectral resolution than one-dimensional MIR spectroscopy, second derivative MIR spectroscopy and fourth derivative MIR spectroscopy, and can provide richer spectral information. MIR spectroscopy has conducted research on the molecular structure of quinine in medicine, which has important application research value.
