Abstract: In order to quickly and accurately calculate the fractal dimension of the mine fault structure, the V-level fault block diagram determined by the geological dynamic zoning of Fuli Mine was taken as the research area. Based on ArcGIS software, the number of fault cover grid units under different scales was counted by using the spatial analysis and attribute selection function. According to the definition of similarity dimension, the fracture fractal dimension was calculated. The results showed that the fractal dimension of fracture structure in Fuli Mine was 1.394, and the linear correlation coefficient was 0.9920. It showed that the fracture had typical fractal characteristics, revealed the self-similarity and scale invariance of fracture fractal, and proved the feasibility of ArcGIS in the calculation of mine fracture fractal.
