Hidden disaster factors were the main cause of coal mine safety accidents, and its exploration and identification were important means to ensure coal mine safety production. Taking Ping'an Mine in Shanxi as the research object, this paper analyzed the hidden disaster geological factors through investigation and data collection. It was considered that the goaf, water conduction fracture zone, underground water body and ancient river bed scouring zone were the main hidden disaster factors in the mine field, and the prevention and control of related factors should be strengthened in the future production process. Abandoned old kilns, sealing poor drilling holes, faults, folds, fracture zones, collapse columns, gas enrichment areas and other factors could not be ignored.
