Abstract： Mineral resource reserves mean the total amount of mineral resource reserves obtained through mineral resource detection and feasibility evaluation. In the process of coal mining, mineral resource reserves are often in a state of change. Therefore, through the comparison of resource reserves results, the change of resource reserves are clarified and the reasons for the resource reserves change are analyzed, which is of great significance to accurately calculate the coal mine resource reserves and guide further work. Taking Xiandewang Coal Mine as an example, the mine is an old mine for many years. Due to the long history of mining, the mine field scope has changed, and the comparison of resource reserves is not clear. Therefore, a quantitative method is studied to compare resource reserves in the same range and analyze the causes of the difference.
