The 25308 working face of Xingtai Mine is the No. 5 coal seam working face, which was probed by the mature pit penetration physical exploration technology. Meeting the working conditions of the pit penetration site, the measured field strength curve comparison method was used to circle the scope of the anomaly area, and the results were determined by combining with the analysis of the revealed geological conditions. The pit penetration technology basically explored the geological structures existing within the 25308 working face, providing technical basis and support for geological work such as drilling by the mine. By studying the results of the application of the pit penetration technique at workings 25308, its practical significance in mine geology was determined. The results showed that pit penetration technology had significant effects on coal mine geological work in improving mine safety and reducing waste of coal resources.
