The malodorous gases produced during the pretreatment and aerobic fermentation of kitchen waste, including hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, ammonia and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs), will have adverse effects on the plant and surrounding environment. The process of "alkali absorption tower + chemical oxidation absorption tower + water absorption tower" was used to treat the organized emission of odor, and the composition, odor concentration, treatment process and process parameters of aerobic fermentation of kitchen waste gas were investigated. Engineering practice shows that the overall deodorization efficiency of this process is over 80%, and the tail gas emission meets the corresponding limits of the Emission Standard for Malodorous Pollutants (GB14554-93), which had the characteristics of strong adaptability, stable operation and low investment and operation cost.
