The effective impact radius of drilling is an important basis for determining the parameters of drilling arrangement and predicting the time of gas extraction and elimination. In order to settle the reasonable arrangement parameters of the gas drainage in bedding coal seam, the effective influence radius of the gas drainage in the bedding borehole under different drilling time was calculated by numerical calculation and verified by on-site inspection. The results showed that under the same drainage conditions, the extraction drilling diameter was 94 m, the extraction time 120 d, the extraction impact radius reached 1.5 m, when the extraction time was 90 d, the extraction impact radius reached 1 m, which was basically the same as the numerical calculation result.
