Tangjiahui mine was affected by the water damage of the roof sandstone fissure water and the floor ash water, which seriously affected the mining speed and the difficulty of roof support. In response to these situations, directional drilling technology was used to control the water damage of the Tangjiahui Mine. Directional drilling with the advantages of high orientation precision, strong control and adjustment of drilling trajectory, high efficiency, real-time accurate measurement while drilling, etc, the directional drilling trajectory control technology was applied to the field of water damage control in underground coal mines, which was new technical solutions for water damage prevention and drilling.
