In view of the environmental and policy pressure faced by the present anthracite coal gasification technology, the coal quality and existing gasification technology of Jincheng anthracite were analyzed. It is concluded that the advanced gasification technology suitable for Jincheng anthracite is airflow bed gasification technology. It is suggested that the ash content and ash melting point of coal should be taken into account in the development and research of this technology.
