In order to effectively analyze the development law and height of the overburden water-fractured fissure zone of the 3101 working face, the numerical simulation and physical similarity simulation model were established by combining the numerical simulation with the physical similarity simulation method and the specific conditions of the 3101 working face. The development law and seepage law of mining fissure zone were simulated. The results showed that the maximum development height of the water-cracking zone of the overlying strata in the 3101 working face was about 130 m, the caving zone was about 25 m, the fracture zone about 107 m, and the curved sinking zone about 30 m.
