Based on the impact shearer drum cutting line spacing parameters, different cutting line spacing of the spiral drum was taken as analysis object, using UG software to establish the 3 different cutting line spacing of cutting drum model, the discrete element simulation software PFC was used to simulate three groups of different cutting line spacing in the process of mining, the cutting force, cutting teeth, collapsed coal volume were got, the calculation analysis of roller by cutting torque and cutting energy consumption was conducted. By comparing the data of the three models and the energy consumption of cutting ratio, it can be seen that the cutting performance of the drum was better when the intercept distance was 70 mm under the set working condition.
