This paper analyzed and compared four common hard roof management schemes, and determined the advantages of the pressure water injection scheme. simulation analysis was carried out on the hard roof water softening effect, it was concluded that the technology can make the basic roof first weighting and periodic weighting interval decrease by 30% and 24% respectively, the hydraulic fracturing was effective in relieving the stress of surrounding rock of roadway, greatly reduced the damage of roadway.
