Quanhu mining area in the past has not been explored coal resources, only a few small coal mine conducted its own right of mineral exploration, but the exploration degree was not high, and because independent right of exploration and mining coal seam number did not correspond to each other. There are many layers of coal in Xishan kiln formation in the mining area, and the thickness varied greatly. In this paper, on the basis of a large number of geological data, the main mining area of coal bearing strata and coal seam characteristics, seam combination characteristic were summarized, effective contrast method was adopted, comparison and analysis of main minable seam system were conducted, providing reference for coal resource exploration in subsequent mining area.
