Abstract With the background of the industrial and mining abandoned land reclamation project in Wangchenzhuang in Tangshan City, the design of the abandoned wellbore plugging scheme was introduced in detail for 17 small coal mines attached to the reclamation area, the two plugging methods of the well cover as the main and filling the wellbore as the supplementary were studied, and reasonable suggestions were made for the construction process, and the rationality of the wellbore plugging structure was verified.
