Based on the top plate management measures of W2307 coal seam of Gaohe Mine, the selection of hydraulic support at the face was introduced, the requirements of top plate management were elaborated, and the methods of top plate management along the gob-side were studied from the aspects of supporting mode, concrete proportioning standard, concrete wall supporting parameters and the requirements of soft mould in the high top area, and the top plate management measures under special circumstances were analyzed, with reference for the similar working face.
