| Preparation and performance evaluation of functional lipstick with arnebia euchroma root extracts as active ingredient |

Abstract Because of arnebia the special effects of euchroma root such as antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, detoxification, light scar, anti-oxidation and bright colors. Arnebia euchroma root was selected as the raw material, which cell wall was broken by freeze crushing technology and active ingredient inside the cell extracted with ethanol solution, the Fe2+, Mg2+, Zn2+ were used to make the extract show a variety of colors. Food grade vitamin E, honey, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter and white beeswax were selected as raw materials for moisturizing, moisturizing and curing to make colorful lipstick. The optimum extraction and preparation conditions were explored, the results showed that: the extraction rate of shikonin could be increased to 2.38% by using 95% ethanol solution and reflux extraction at 50 ℃ for 2 h, the ratio of m(beeswax)∶m(sweet almond oil)∶m(cocoa butter) is 1∶2.3∶0.6, and the addition amount of Arnebia euchroma extract is 12% ~ 15%, the lipstick with good formability, high moisture content and excellent moisturizing and repairing properties could be obtained.
