The primary purpose of the building (structure) under mining was to ensure the safety of surface buildings, so surface changes before mining should be expected in advance. The probability integral method for surface mining working face under the highway was used to expect the deformation protection for two working face after mining, expected results and rules of surface deformation protection standards were analyzed and compared. The result showed the mining plan would make the abutment subsidence values exceed the standard and cause the abutment damage, affect the normal use of the highway, but other positions after mining deformation value was still in the scope of protection standard.
