Based on the present situation and existing problems of the detection on steel cord conveyor by X-ray imaging principle, the applied research of steel cord conveyor on-line monitoring system was carried out. The system increased the accuracy and reliability of the detection on steel cord conveyor and ensured the safe operation of the steel cord conveyor,  and saved the cost caused by frequent replacement of belt.
