In view of the problems of small coverage, long construction period and restricting mining replacement in traditional drilling in the control of high confined Ordovician limestone water disaster in the lower coal group of North China type coalfield, taking the water prevention and control project of No.9 coal seam floor in Dongpang Coal Mine as the background, the system optimization research on directional drilling technology of two directions and multiple dimensions was carried out. Through field comparison test and data statistical analysis, the making inclination rate matching parameters of the making inclination section were optimized, and the trajectory control strategy of the stable inclination section of 'short sliding, frequent compound, small angle fine adjustment' was proposed, and the drilling parameter matching system under different formation conditions was formed. The results showed that the average hole depth of the optimized directional drilling was 972 m, and the trajectory deviation was controlled within ± 1.5 °. After the control, the maximum water outburst coefficient of Ordovician limestone in the regional floor was reduced to 0.057 6 MPa / m, which met the requirements of safe mining under pressure. Compared with the traditional rotary drilling, the coverage area of the single drilling field was increased by 49 %, and the construction period was shortened by 15 %, which alleviated the contradiction between drilling and roadway excavation, and provided technical reference for the advanced control of floor water disaster in similar high pressure mining areas.
