In order to meet the needs of high-speed, low-latency and high-reliability wireless communication in the intelligent construction of coal mines, aiming at the problems of signal difference and limited bandwidth of the existing 3G communication system in Changgou Coal Mine of Yangquan Coal Industry Group, KT866 ( 5G ) mine wireless communication system was designed. The system adopts an independent 5G private network architecture, integrates 2.6G intrinsically safe integrated fusion base station, UWB precise positioning technology and intelligent scheduling function, and realizes diversified applications such as underground high-definition audio and video calls, emergency scheduling, and remote control of equipment. Through the system architecture design, equipment selection configuration and functional test verification, it is shown that the single base station coverage distance of the system can reach 600 ~ 800 m, the data transmission delay is less than 20 ms, and the positioning accuracy is 0.3 m. It can effectively improve the safety production efficiency of coal mine, reduce the operation and maintenance cost, and provide reliable communication guarantee for the intelligent upgrading of coal mine.
