A deep hole pre-grouting reinforcement scheme for inorganic materials in the final mining area was designed to address issues such as rock fragmentation, difficulty in maintaining the dismantling channel, and safety hazards of polymer chemical slurry during the final mining period of the fully mechanized top coal caving face. A 130m deep hole was constructed in the trench, and two types of inorganic grouting materials, rapid setting early strength and ultra-fine high strength, were selected. The "0-30-130m" segmented grouting process was used for end reinforcement and full length reinforcement, respectively. The industrial test results showed that the segmented grouting process and two materials ensured effective grouting volume, with a maximum grouting volume of 12.6 tons per hole and minimal leakage. After the working face entered the pre grouting reinforcement area, the proportion of blade and roof caving trips was 6.8%, far less than the 56% under non grouting conditions. The dismantling channel was well maintained, and the working face was safely dismantled. The cost of pre grouting inorganic materials was only 38.7% of that of polymer chemical slurry.
