In order to address the bottleneck in wastewater treatment faced by an industrial plant's existing water treatment facility during the evaporation and crystallization of sodium sulfate and sodium chloride, caused by technological limitations, improper equipment selection, and insufficient design capacity. Targeting the current situation where nanofiltration concentrate and crystallization mother liquor cannot be effectively recycled, accumulating in evaporation ponds and posing environmental risks, a capacity expansion and technological transformation plan was proposed. By installing an additional set of high-efficiency evaporation and crystallization treatment equipment, the plan aims to comprehensively enhance wastewater treatment capacity, ensuring that all concentrate and mother liquor generated by the first and second phases of the nanofiltration salt-splitting system can be properly disposed. Ultimately, the goal of "zero discharge" of wastewater from the plant, respond to environmental protection policies would be achieved, and green production would be promoted.
