Uniaxial compressive strength and elastic modulus are important parameters of rock physical and mechanical properties. In the application of wellbore inspection hole, the relationship between them is of great significance for predicting the engineering geological characteristics of wellbore. In this paper, 121 groups of rock samples obtained from the wellbore inspection hole of Huating Coal Mine in Gansu Province are taken as the research objects. According to the lithology characteristics, they are divided into 6 categories. The elastic modulus and uniaxial compressive strength are independent variables and dependent variables respectively. The relationship between the two is fitted by four regression models of linear function, quadratic function, cubic function and power function using SPSS mathematical statistics software. Different regression models are compared and analyzed, and the relationship between compressive strength and elastic modulus is constructed for different lithologies. The research results provide corresponding engineering reference for wellbore construction.
