In view of the characteristics of inclined roadway in coal seam floor of No.2106 Face in Changcun Mine, and the influence of advanced abutment pressure on the stability of abandoned roadway floor when working face was advancing, the method of filling empty roadway by sub-region was determined. By using numerical simulation research, combined with Rhino design software, the difference of plastic zone between goaf roadway and filling roadway in working face was compared and analyzed, and the following conclusions are obtained : Through numerical simulation research and comparison, it was found that under the filling condition, the stress concentration of surrounding rock of roadway was small, and the abutment pressure generated by disturbance could be transferred to the deep through filling material. It would not produce a more concentrated stress beam around the roadway. Therefore, the plastic zone around the roadway was less, and the integrity of the surrounding rock of the roadway was realized to ensure the normal advancement of the working face. By filling different strength filling materials in different positions, it could not only realize regional filling support, but also realize the same bearing of filling materials and roadway surrounding rock, achieve the expected effect, and ensure the smooth progress of No.2106 Face.
