Abstract: In order to solve the problems of unreasonable coal pillar width and poor supporting effect in Changcun Mine, the optimal coal pillar width and supporting scheme were studied by means of numerical simulation, rock pressure monitoring and theoretical analysis, and industrial application test was carried out. The results showed that: When the width was greater than 30m, there was a stable elastic zone in the coal pillar, and the reasonable coal pillar width was 30m. The monitoring results showed that the optimized coal pillar size and support scheme could ensure the surrounding rock stability of No. 2106 track crossheading, and met the needs of the safe mining of the working face.
