Abstract: Xinjing Company is a coal and gas outburst mine, gas control is the top priority to ensure the safety of coal mine production. Taking the 3217 heading face of Xinjing Company as the research object, this paper analyzes the formulation of regional comprehensive outburst prevention measures, the construction of boreholes in each link and the regional effect test during the period of the working face passing through the collapse column. According to the gangue situation in the process of outburst prevention measures in the area of 3217 auxiliary air intake roadway and the geological structure revealed in the process of excavation, the excavation area is divided into different sections, and different gas area control schemes are formulated. During the period of passing through the collapse column, the relevant outburst prevention data indicators are less than the critical value, and the implementation effect of the outburst prevention measures is remarkable. The collapse column of the heading face is successfully passed, which has a good reference for the coal uncovering during the collapse column of other mines.
